If you don't mind the drive to Seguin, you will find you will be in and out of there in 20 minutes. Unless you hit the occasional pool of CDL drivers which get dropped off by the bus load.

IIRC, it was the Leon Valley Mega Center where that poster reported in another thread having to wait hours in line. I believe it was the Friday before the Monday when everyone had to go back to school. But the time I accompanied my elderly mom there to get a Texas ID, there was no line, just had to wait for the next available clerk to get freed up. It was a walk-in, too. Didn't sign up in advance.


I do know those places can get surges of people at times, so best to sign in using the link you posted.

I actually received my Texas DL at the Seguin office. In and out in 20-30 minutes!
