Default Retirement condos in Kerrville

I'm hoping to find either a condo, small house or mobile home park in Kerrville to live in during the winter months (at first) then maybe moving completely in a few years. However, I do want to buy the place in about two years.

Does Kerrville have any possible gated areas for retirees? Mobile home parks, condos???????

If there is, maybe someone would know who I could talk to to get some information. We're coming to Texas on vacation in October and are planning to go over to Kerrville for just a day to check the town out....never been there before but it looks like a nice place, according to the internet and the brochures that were sent to me by the Chamber of Commerce.

Any help would be very nice and appreciated.

Thank you.
