At the PANL (Potranco Area Networking Luncheon) they said where, but I honestly couldn't figure it out. It's somewhere out Potranco a little further than their previous location. They said they should be able to open in April. So I'm thinking that a "Happy Grand Re-Opening from your friends at CDSA" would be a fun thing!

And yep, this weather! Yeesh! My little girls layed out summer-type dresses for school last night. Had to layer on sweaters. But if memory serves me (which it does less and less these days ), don't we usually get a "cold snap" every year around the end of Feb/first of March?

Yeppers, I think that is about right...seems that winter tries to blow just a little last spud about this time of year...but the GOOD news is how easy this winter was for us! I love the mild winters here when we are blessed with them.

Now if the darn oak trees would complete doing their things, we could uncover the pool soon!

I think that is a GREAT idea...a Happy Grand Re-Opening would be on our calander for sure!!! How 'bout it guys...when and where so we can start planning! (I am now officially taking bets it opens BEFORE Which Wich!!!)

I agree with you on that!! Darn that Which Wich!! Darned snails! Sure hope Sips & More didn't hire them, too!

Anytime other than April 19th is fine by me (little girls have Cheer & Dance competitions that day, I think it's an all day thing). And maybe we can get a more "definite" opening date from "gwrober"..............

We REALLY enjoyed as another ship was next to us ahead one lock...so we got to see them go up as we went down and vica versa as they drained/filled each one.

I LOVED the part where we were getting ready to enter (cruise ships have the right of way over all others because the Panama Gov charges per PERSON aboard the ship as well as weight (how smart!)...so all the tankers, cargo, others moved to the side so we could pass....looked like the parting of the sea by Moses!
So you gonna post any pictures? I hope to have a ton of them from Alaska and might try to talk my wife into letting me get a DSLR camera so I don't miss any great shots.. The Navy boats also had priority over everyone and it is nice to just keep on going while everyone else is sitting in the VERY hot bays. Where were the port visits? Hopefully you didn't go to Puerto Quetzal in Guatemala. We made a stop there once on a Coast Guard cutter and that place was a dump and a half.

We ARE blessed to live in such a beautiful place! The temps yesterday and today according to the SAWX rival those in the Caribbean for the last 10 days! we are SO lucky to live here!
I agree. While I've lived many places, nothing beats the final approach back into San Antonio.

I will try and post a few pics...I have converted them to disc already, but not so good at trying to upload them from the computer...need to get the DH to help me with that one.

We left from Ft Lauderdale (and glad we got back on Sunday vs being there now with that HUGE poweroutage in S FL) and visited Antigua, St Lucia, Barbados, St Nevis/Kitts, St Thomas and Princess Cayes (their private island).
The other days were VERY relaxing sea days...my personal favorite!
