Not true! Not true! I only say "the" in California! Once I get back home, I drop it...just sounds odd using "the" with 35, 281, 90, etc...

Hope this elementary school level illustration I made helps. lol Though, just a clarification the loops aren't perfect circles nor are the freeways that straight.

in some parts of the states.. they do say "the" in front of the highways..
