What's with the numbers??
I see people posting things like "I'm in the 1604" and such. What the heck does that mean?

1604 is a loop that is on the outer side (pretty soon the center of) San Antonio. It is a highway that loops around San Antonio. IH 35 is another Highway as is IH 10, Loop410 and Highway 281.

Yes, it is really quite simple....you take 90 to 151 where you get on 1604 to get to 281 then go south to 410 and over to 35 til you hit 37. Get it???

All that, and not a single "the" in the whole bunch!!
wildmaven - in SA there are 2 loops ~ 410 (the inner loop) and 1604 (the outer loop). When someone says the live "inside 1604" they generally mean in between 410 & 1604. So, it follows "outside 1604" - outside Loop 1604....... clear as mud? Oh, and the numbers are never, I repeat never to be preceded with the word "the". It's a sin among sins!! giggle!
