The Shakes and Krispy Kreme locations on I-10 at DeZavala are closing?

3. Bobby J's
4. Chris Madrid
5. Red Robin

Is that the place that was across from Walker Ranch Park? If so, I think there have been two other restaurants go in there since it was a burger place.

Yep... I had a baby shower at Walker Ranch Park... there used to be a mexican restaurant a little further north on West Ave. across the park and in the back was Charlie's burgers. This was 1999-2001. Haven't been there since.

Love Chester's, Chris Madrids's.
Thought Big'z was so-so. Longhorn's is a bit greasy for me, maybe it's because I always forget to ask them to hold the mayo.

We did try GBG last weekend-awesome burger and fries, although a bit pricy.

I never liked the bajillion poppy seeds on the Chester's bun, and when I mentioned that to someone a few weeks ago, I was told they no longer use them. Can anyone confirm?

I just ate a chilli cheeseburger at Chesters two weeks ago at the monthly meeting of the Texas Jeep Corps and don't recall any poppy seeds on the bun. However, I will try to confirm that with the other club members when we meet at the TJC social tomorrow evening in the huge parking lot next to the Silverado Theater (11505 W Loop 1604 N 78254 in case anyone is interested in coming, just look for the gaggle of Jeeps!).

Cheers! M2

I think you'd remember if they were there. The buns were just coated with them, and still tons more would fall off or get stuck to your fingers, and it was just not a good experience for me.

We had Babe's over the weekend, and they are still as good as ever.

They used normal buns the last few times I was there, so I think the poppy seeds are gone.
