Need tile for entire shower and bathroom floors. Hubby is DIYing (he's quite talented) and I know the look I want. I would prefer to buy from some place other than the big box stores but I'm having a hard time finding someplace that will sell to the general public. I've been to Emser and Stone Solutions and while they have amazing things, they will not sell to me. :/
Thanks!

Daltile, Royal Tile (the location on West 1604 is closed), Floor Decor, Mundo Tile, there's a lot more out there. Daltile and Royal for porcelain tile. The others for ceramic although they all have small inventories of porcelain. The prices will be according to the volume you are buying so buy as much as you think you are going to put down, even if different colors to get the best price.

There are a gazillion places. One place we used has since closed, but the other was Mundo Tile near The Cove. I checked out pretty much every place between here and Kerrville at few years ago...

Does Floor & Decor on 410/Bandera count as a big box store?

There is a tile store (name escapes my memory right now) between a HobbyTown store and Tool Store on 410 and Vance Jackson that was able to find the exact tile I was looking for and I was very picky when it came to choosing my shower tile.

I was wondering the same thing too. They have locations throughout the US but I have bought tile from them and found the selection of tiles great, knowledgeable staff and there are free how to clinics as well.

I bought some tile at a place on San Pedro next to a rivercity doughnut shop, its close to oblate. The owner was nice and went out of his way to help, and I hope its still open.
