Anyone remember the hotdog place on Walzem from the early 80's? They had arcade games and footlong dogs, if I remember right. I think it was Wienerschnitzel, or something similar.

Smile Kress Store

Does anyone out there remember the Kress Store in down town San Antonio? How about the donuts they used to sell? I recall being a young child and my mother buying bags and bags of donuts as it they were going out of style. It seems they have since the Kress Store was sold to another co. Anyhow, I am trying to reach any of the bakers who might have the recipe for the dounts.

I thought that ice skating rink closed right before I learned to drive. I didn't know it had closed. So it was one of the first places I went to on my own. And much to my disappointment, there was nothing left of the rink. This was probably in 1979.
