There were at least two others. One at a little strip center at Westfield & SW Military Dr. and one in a little strip center at Evers & Wurzbach. I patronized both. I'm sure there were others...

There also use to be a Conan's Pizza (from Austin) in Lohmann's Village. Good stuff but didn't stay long.

Wasn't there one down at Callaghan & Culebra? By the bowling alley?

Coolies! Thanx for the info!!
BTW: There was a Whataburger on Goliad Road until the late 80's, early 90's, yup there is a bakery there, but it looks neglected, may be closed if you go by the tagging on the A-frame.
Anyone remember 'Donut Hut" on the corner of Goliad? Winn's - b4 they went out of business... The 'Ice Pick' ( a bar by my stepdad (RIP) now a resturant...

I was in third grade when my parents took me to the Goliad one. Got a Shakey's hat & used it for our Christmas school play, A Christmas Carol. It was neat - Shakey's

Fargos
Y'all got me thinking about Fargos. I remember going to the one on Evers & Wurzbach.
But wasn't there also one on NW Military & LockeHill Selma (the shopping center with the old Kroger and Dallas night club - present day Fast Eddies)???

I miss all the Winn's stores that used to be all over town. They went out of business in 1990/1991, but before then, I used to got here all the time. I don't know why either. They were good stores that did well as best as I can remember.

All this talk about Chain Pizzas,
what about Family run joints??
anybody remember eating at Jo-Tos Pizza Palace??
Half block off San Pedro on El Mio.
It was one of our regular family night out favorites,
in the early 60s. I think the owners went to our Church.
The food was real good, and there was a big picture window
into the kitchen. Us kids liked to sit over there,
so we could watch the dough get flattened
then flung up into the air like a big old saucer.
Also on the tables were candles as artwork of a sort.
Different colored candle each time,
so the collected drippings were an interesting contrast.
The candles would build up into a pretty large mass.
