Eckard's was in the 2000 era because I remember the CVS on Potranco being one before the Albertson's closed and we built this house in 2000. This was before they built the Walgreen's diagnal to it. Boy, I remember when after Park Place, there were no lights leading down Potranco going towards 1604.

Thanks for that. I haven't been out Potranco in a while. It's hard to recall so Many names Revco, Eckards, CVS, Walgreens, Albertsons, Krogers, HEB, Handy Andy, Magna Mart, Cosumers Commisary, Eagle,Globe, Spartan Atlantic, Woolworth's, Joske's , Wolf & Marx, Dillard's. I'm sorry got a little carried away. I did think Eckards could have been that recent.
P.S. forgot K Mart , Wal Mart , Fed Mart , Gulf Mart , Handy Dan's , Builders Square , Home Depot Whew! I'm tired.

darknight6662005 is on a distinguished road
I remember the Churches, down the street from the former Winns place on Nogalitos, was closed or being remodeled, when I was down there last week. It had been there since the early 80's. Well since as long as I've been there, when I was was a kid. Keep in mind, I'm 30 years old. Same goes for the Dairy Queen. OH...and the Handy Andy, between theo and malone...will be missed along with the laundry mat, my mother use to take us too. And one last thing...Does anyone remember the name of the mexican restaurant that use to be across the street from the old handy andy on Nogalitos. I think a family dollar is there now on theo.

Yes, I remember the old Handy Andy and was it an S&H Green stamp redemption center or Texas Gold or Top Value . Remember those. Used to be one on Military Drive Where HEB used to be . Think it was Texas Gold.
