There was a Fargo's briefly in the mid-90's in the back of the bowling alley at I10/Dezavala. But it didn't taste as good as I remembered it from the past.

Fargos was great. Remember the one on Military Drive had the Up Stairs. Also a Movie room. They showed Three Stooges and Cartoons. Man they had the best Canadian bacon Pizza. Almost as good as Colonial Pizza. Close To Flip side. HHW

Hey boyson, do you reeeally think CH's onion rings were better than Buddy's? I thought Buddy's was the very best. I guess I was biased since I worked at Buddy's as did several of my sisters. So when did you grow up over there? My sister Pat was the manager for many years and I carhopped there from the summer of '65 til fall of '67 then I worked at the one on Fredericksburg Road til I graduated high school in '69. That one stood between a trailer park and later a Shakey's Pizza was build on the other side. Of course, Shakey's no longer exists any where in town.
...And Nix, Oh, and how well I remember Houston St. and Hemisfair '68.
Tip Top had and still has the Best Onion Rings in town. HHW

If I could only remember the name... something "Palace" maybe? (Not Bluebonnet Palace or Lone Star Palace; this place pre-dated those by decades.) It was a big structure on a huge lot.

Barn Door next to the Golden Stallion?????

Anyone ever use to go to Lyndy's on Fredericksburg? I found out this bar closed recently.
