Was that you that asked about Brady's Marine. There used to be Ray Russell's Marine at the corner of Probandt and Steves. Newell's behind it. He was there a long long time. But , been gone a long time ago.

Who remembers the huge " Butter Krust " billboard sign with the slices of bread falling out? Obviously motorized . It was a landmark on I-35 near THE UNION STOCKYARDS.

who remembers the Union Stockyards?...they are slowly going to develop a multi use group of properties there if small shopping center and condo's

It was sad to see it go. I worked there back in 72' 73'. Many fond memories.

I remember the billboard on San Pedro, just north of Hildebrand, above the tracks.

Was there another one there with the falling bread? I think I do remember that one. I'd completely forgotten that one.
