Anybody remember UR Cook's in the same Loehman's Village shopping center? I remember going there when the first opened and thinking it was the best piece of Steak you could eat. I Don't know if I was just young and stupid and didn't know better, but I went there with a friend shortly before they closed down and felt the quality of the meat wasn't much better than Golden Corral.

Looks like Reggiano's, Silo, and Kirby's Steakhouse are all now gone but not forgotten on 1604. And my old hangout of course, Tom's Ribs.

GW that's funny I remember that, they lady at the drug emporium knew me already. I remember buying tickets for the 1992 NFC Championship aganist the 49ers. I was the only person in line, guess people did not know they sold cowboy tickets there.

I know Reggiano's closed but I think Kirby's and Silo are still open. Kirby's opens normally about 5 not sure what time Silo opens.

I used to eat at UR Cooks all the time. You could Grill your steak and sip on a lone star at the same time.
Also Toasting and snacking on on Texas toast as your steak was cooking. Very good steak and you didn't have to clean up your mess.
