the NWS forcast for today (Thurs Mar 6)

70% Chance of showers and t-storms. High of 58F, which will most likely occur in the morning time, the drop off into the lower 50's for the rest of the day- all due to a cold front that will be droping through in the morning hours.

...so bundle up, put on your rain coat, and try to have a good day...

It's still pretty warm and humid out and there's nothing on any radars I can check online. I've pretty much given up on ever getting any more rain here

Last year we were all screaming for the sun. It's Texas. We do everything bigger here. Either lots of rain, or lots of sun.

My daughter was mad at me this morning for making her wear a jacket. she says "but its not cold mom". I tried to explain that it will get colder today, but you know how kids are

My 17 y/o is at a BPA (Business Professionals of America) convention in Dallas. I hope she gets to see some snow today!!

Let it rain, let it rain!!! We need it bad.

The entire Dallas Ft. Worth Metro Area is under an incredible winter storm right now- Snow, Sleet, Ice, the works....

We reached our high at about 11 this morning, it's 45F and droping right now (it's about 2:30pm)

I have been really worried about my daughter all week (its a mommy thing) .
But I am glad she will see some snow, even though it is just a little bit (1-3")

How long is the rain supposed to last? Is it for today only?
Of course, I've lived in Texas all my life and I know that is a dumb question but I was just wondering.
I'm off to check mysa.com
