Yeah, downtown is much safer. People don't get shot there.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not but the discussion is on restaraunts, not areas of town.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. Personally when I travel, I avoid tourist traps and prefer to go off the beaten path......it is more interesting and that is why I was suggesting Chachos as an option. If "24/7" was not an requirement then I could suggest a whole lot more.

If the OP wants "safe" then probably best to stick with Mi Tierra.

Don Pedro's is open past midnight on Fri and Sat night.

Hours | Don Pedro

Not exactly close to DT but not far at all either.
