I'll be in Blanco, TX on Sunday, weather permitting. If the water is low I'll be taking pics of the dinosaur tracks as well that are located nearby. They are the longneck saurapods with tracks that are 43 inches in diameter, some of the largest in the world.

So, you're going to Blanco on Sunday. How far is it from SA ? Is it worth visiting this town?

Romy, the town is not that special but the dinosaur tracks are outstanding! I'll be posting some trackways later this afternoon. If you want to see them, dm me and I'll give directions. We don't tell the location on the net to help protect them from vandals. Same for anyone else, just want assurance they'll be left alone for everyone to enjoy!

Great stuff! I highly recommend everyone checks out the tracks! I loved going out there! Here are the directions to get there.
Have You Ever Seen Sauropod Tracks? | Texas RV Travel blog
Take US Highway 281 South from Austin to Blanco, turn right onto FM 1623, and look for County Road 103 on the left. Turn and park safely by the low water crossing.
Stand on the low water crossing facing downstream. Walk to your left toward FM 1623 and enter the riverbed. Gingerly walk about 150 feet and you cannot miss these tracks! There are about 20 of them and they lead right into the water.

Romy: The largest tracks are located in Spain. They are 45 inches across. The ones in Blanco are 43 inches. Just two inches shy of being as large as the ones in Spain.
