Hello everyone!

I was wondering what are good peach farms (places) around SA where we can go and pick some?

Last year we were kind of late for everything (end of August - September) and found "leftovers"....we were around LBJ ranch area.

Appreciate the leads!

Fredericksburg peaches

I usually go to Marburger Orchard, Fredericksburg, Tx.
But as of 5/29/2017.
No "pick-your-own” peaches due to an unusually warm winter.

Although they will be selling at the orchard sales shed and at the
Fredericksburg Farmers Market.

I don’t know about other areas.
Best to check online.

The season this year is nearly done, though usually they have enough to go into July. They didn't have enough chiller days, so lost their crop of freestones.

I purchased some from the guy on Bandera in Helotes last weekend; he said they may have enough for this weekend and possibly the following. The peaches we purchased were rock hard, started spoiling before they softened, and don't have the good peach flavor I like; I'm hoping they make a decent cobbler! There is someone at Rainbow Gardens on Bandera who said he'll have Colorado peaches from the Palisades in July.
