A friend and I are moving to the San Antonio area in a couple of months. We are looking for a nice area to live that is inexpensive and relatively close to San Antonio. I have interviews already for a couple of major places. Can anyone give me any detail of where to live that inexpensive but super nice. We are looking to rent with a possibility of buying. My friend is transferring from one walmart to another once we decide on a place to live. Any suggestions would be wonderful

Those 2 things usually don't appear together...

What would you consider inexpensive? How much sq ft? Bedrooms/bath? House or apt?

Define inexpensive in dollar amounts. What may seem inexpensive to someone moving here from Washington, D.C. may seem outrageous to someone from a lower cost of living area.

The more specifics, the better folks can help.

What Wal-Mart is your friend going be working at? Where do you have interviews lined up at?

Not sure what's up with this OP. Last month she was moving to Oregon and owns her own home business. She didn't return to that thread, either.

I do own my own business but a change of plans did occur and the opportunity to move to San Antonio with my best friend is an opportunity only an idiot would pass up. My friend Leeann is looking into walmarts today at work. I am getting my business here in Montana settled. We will be moving later in the month of July.

I am sorry I didn't return that thread last month.

Montana has a very high cost of living. We are looking for a house with a fenced back yard.

If you think Montana has a high cost of living....I can't think of any place in the country cheaper. Maybe Appalachia
