Today I saw a sign near the strip center at Huebner and Churchill Estates that the Quilter's Point Cafe is now open. Couldn't tell what they serve, but it should be a good location.

Dear Miaht82,
How do you know about Cosi coming to Quarry Village? I'm moving to the area and wanted to look for job at QV. I thought it would be nice to be on the forefront of the lookers and so I'm looking for a way to know what's coming there as soon as anyone else knows. Am I making sense?

We tried Amorcitos on 1604 last Friday, since rated readers choice in paper. We had fajitas & they were ok. They were packed!!!
I'd love to hear something about Wildfish too? And the dresscode?

My wife and I went to a new soul food/southern cooking place called Tanya's Place today. It's located at the intersection of Military and Marbach and the food was pretty good. You can tell they are targeting Mama Lee's, but the guys there don't have to worry about the competition. The actual restaurant is pretty nice and much larger than Mama Lee's, but the food was only good; Mama Lee's is more dayum good.. Tanya's mac and cheese was some of the best I've had ever.

The Food Flashes blog at mysa.com reports the following new restaurants/locations:
SoGo at 19903 Stone Oak Parkway (To-Go meals, salads and sandwiches)
The Stockyards restaurant and Dance Hall at 10619 Westover Hills Blvd (Steaks, chicken-fried ribeye, chicken-fried chicken breast, quesadillas, grilled shrimp and something called Chute Gate Stew)
Casbeers is opening a second location at 1150 S. Alamo St. in the King William neighborhood "in a few weeks." The original on Blanco will become lunch-only, once the new location opens.
Madhatters Tea will open a second location at 106 Auditorium Circle

a coworker went to the Stockyards over the weekend and got that chicken fried ribeye. He said it was good, but I said paying that kind of money for anything chicken fried just isn't right..

OH....very good point. I can only imagine what that would be...let alone my usual "Texas sized rib eye" that I usually get. Still less then a CPS bill, but still....

This is San antonio, there is no dress code. I believe Le Reve is the only place in town with a jacket required policy (although no tie). I have seen both men and women in shorts and flip flops at Kirby's and I have seen a grown man in a Spurs t-shirt and tennis shoes at Flemming.
As far as the dress code at Wildfish, as a wise man once said " Dress how you want to be treated".
