Default Mela Indian Bar and Grill

We went to Mela Indian Bar and Grill yesterday for the lunch buffet and it was really, really good.

In spite of the crappy location (near Gringo's on 410) and plain exterior, they have done a terrific job of decorating it inside - very upscale! The food was FRESH, tasty and the buffet had a great variety. We will definitely be back. I hope the location isn't this restaurant's downfall as I hear the previous few tenants haven't done so well.....

I hope lots of people go so it stays open and I can continue to enjoy good indian food near home!

I drove past it today. The parking lot was packed and there were balloons on the patio, so I guess that means it's open. Always glad to have another fast food option nearby ...

Has anyone eaten here yet? Do you know if they have the draft rootbeer at this location? I was reading on their website and it says it is not available at all locations. They don't have a phone number listed as the site has not been updated to say that they are now open. Also, how is the food?

The first of 5 Ruby Tuesday's in the San Antonio area is being constructed in the Stone Oak area. Hwy 281 & Overlook Prkwy, I believe.

Yeah, I read that. Saves me a trip! Bad burgers or pizza are one thing, bad seafood is just bad.
