Not sure if it's been mentioned or not but a waiter at Cheddar's told me last Friday that they will be opening a store at the Rim in July. I am very excited to have another Cheddar's closer to home. I get tired of driving from Deerfield all the way over there.

This is great! We like Chunky's! Are they closing their old restaurant and moving or is this a second location? I hope it makes it there...that place has not had the best of luck with restaurants!

Qdoba will never make it here. You can get the same burritos or better at Habanero or Chipotle.

I would love to see a Sweet Tomatoes open up in the San Antonio area. They'd give SouperSalad some competition.

I did write Sweet Tomatoes corporate a while back and they said while they had no current plans to open a location here they'd "consider San Antonio for possible future expansion."

Sweet Tomatoes is good. They had them when we lived in Georgia. I will honestly say everytime we went we would say "I miss Souper Salad". Now though it's been years since I've been to Souper Salad. Go figure....

AUSTIN HIGHWAY UPDATE!

The former LA SILLA location has got a little facelift and appears to be opening as ENCHILADA RITA'S. Hope they have good breakfast tacos, I'll let yall know...

Also, huge news (for me at least), a CHIC-FIL-A is going up next to Walmart! We haven't had one near since Winsor Park closed, I am very pleased. I hope it has one of the larger playplaces
