Anyone seen the BBQ pit at 410 and Naco? Anyone been there?

The only location I know of, on Huebner and I-10 closed up about a year ago.

Assumption based on experience elsewhere. Restaurants with NO license typically allow free corkage (and OP didn't mention a charge). Beer & wine licenses charge a fee (mostly). Hard alcohol licensed restaurants can't (legally in this State).

I'd be damned if the old Champps is gonna be a 3rd Chuys location.

It's a shame Rudy's didn't move into the old Tom's Ribs location. That would have livened up that stretch of highway.

Although it's mentioned in this thread...

So who's been to ALAMO BBQ off 1604 and near Shaenfield or whatever it's called

Since this is the "official" restaurant opening/closing thread, I thought I would include the news here.

Alamo BBQ just south of Shaenfield on 1604 closed after only being open for three weeks.

That place on Blanco Rd. across from the driving range would have been good too. That location seems to be a revolving door for failed restaurants.

I don't think that would have been wise, replacing one BBQ restaurant with another.

There is a Rudy's in Leon Springs, not too far from Stone Oak (about 10 miles), and one up in Live Oak/Selma (roughly 14.5 miles). I guess they believe folks can go to either of those locations...
