I remember going there in the 70s and watching the girl on the swing. The only thing I didn't like was that big cheese block they bring you since I don't like cheese. I guess every business goes down the tubes in time.

Try BBQ Station. It is the best I have found in town. Not on the same level as Lockhart/Luling.

By comparison, we loved those big cheese blocks,,, along with the warm bread loaves they served. The problem was that by the time our dinners arrived, our bellies were full of bread and cheese! It was a fun and tasty place to dine back in the day.
