On Bandera, just south of 1604 - in the Target plaza, there was a chain expensive burger joint whose name I forgot.

It is being redone with a big sign that just says BURGER. Don't know more.

The Metro Taco joint on old Prue and Bandera is open but its web site isn't fully up yet. Pictures look yummy though.

Mellow Mushroom on Stone Oak and 1604 seems to be getting it together. Is that a chain? Rough time to start a restaurant on that road.

Mellow Mushroom is a chain. Target opening date is January, I believe.

Looks like something is finally in the works where the old Krystal hamburger was in Live Oak right in front of the movie theater. A steak and shake would go great great there but something tells me it'll be Mexican. Maybe a Los Robertos taco shop like they did on the nw side by Ingram rd.

Might've been addressed here already, but is Gourmet Burger Grill on Huebner/I10 closed? Totally dark last couple times I drove by.
