Jean-Francois Poujol, who built up Tost Bistro, is now operating the restaurant.

I went by the new Chik-Fil-A on Marbach. Grand opening tomorrow. April 18. People are camped out all over the place. It is amazing what people will do for a free chicken sandwich.

That place went to hell around the same time the health department shut them down. Darn shame as it was a decent riverwalk eatery for awhile.

Oh! I didn't know that! I never heard that. I am gonna grab my tent and hope for rain! Maybe not. I could really get tired of Chik-Fil-A once a week. I guess I could give it to the panhandlers.

[mod cut]

But seriously, Zuni shutting down? Joe of Paesano's fame owns that, so it appears that SA might be getting a little sick of his typical tried-and-true. Maybe he's just going to re-concept it.

Is there any actual meat to this claim of bigotry at Zuni Grill? Or is this one of those weird made up stories like that Billy Bob's Beds fiasco?

[Mod cut: now orphaned]

Do any of the recent closing/changes affect any restaurant on the "Restaurant Week" list? Zuni comes to mind. I will have to find the thread that gave the list.
