Anybody mention Coco's on 1604/281 closed due to construction? If you are a local place without franchise resources you probably can't survive too much business outage.

We went to Van's on Broadway for lunch and it was almost empty. The Broadway construction might kill of a bunch of places. Since San Antonio take forever to finish a road - it's a hard place to be for a restaurant in a major site.

When did Coco close? Friends just posted photos on Valentines Day from there?

The old Krispy Kreme Donut shop at Alamo Downs is being converted into the Vallarta Bar & Grill. It's gonna be awhile before they open it appears.

Longhorn Cafe in Boerne was expected to be open today. I have not yet been to it, but I'm excited for the new addition!

Went by the new Blimpies at Culebra & 1604 by the Home Depot. All I can say is it's gonna be a long while until it opens. The banner is up but there seems to be no hint of activity inside the building itself, totally unfinished area.

Sad, Sad day. Went to the Home & Garden show with friends and then off to Kings Frankfurters off of N. St Mary's street only to find they closed..... Seems the place has been turned into a home brewing place for beer if anyone might be interested in that....
