Don't think it was Steak & Ale. I think it might have been called Olly's or something like that. Maybe I was wrong about the medieval theme.

At least that's what the city reports in its documents; it could have changed again. That said, it looks like another Tex-Mex restaurant. I don't go over that way often, but I hope it's good!
My first post on this, quoted above, was in January 2014. It has been over a year and a half--and this [what looks to be a] restaurant is still not open for business. It has been a few months since I have seen any kind of movement on the premises.

Yeah - read long time ago that Chick-Fil-a was going into the Closed Ruby Tuesday at 281 and Evans.

Sorry for the confusion!

Chick-fila. I heard that rumor as well. I think it was in one of those local stone oak papers. Saw it posted here as well. But nothing more then that.

Steak and Ale's interior was definitely on the "Olde English"/castle interior/medieval side. Dark paneling, flickering lights to look like lanterns/candles, stained glass in places.

It was right on 410 near Cherry Ridge. After Steak and Ale closed, it became some other place, can't remember what.

Was there a Bill Miller's on Broadway and Hilderbrand? I think it is a big hole now.
