Hey on the Pollo Tropical site, it says they are going to have the grand opening of one on Thousand Oaks Drive on September 2.

Pollo Tropical has some good healthy options at a fair price. I hope the new(ish) location near La Cantera & 1604 picks up more customers...I don't want them going out of business. There's usually no line at the drive-thru when I go by, which I don't understand cause their food is so good.

Quick Wok was the bomb!! Yea, I agree in pollo loco. They only seem to build in heavier "Hispanic" areas of town so I guess schertz doesn't really fit the bill. Always wanted one close by. Same with pizza patron .More Hispanic areas is where they 'll lie Also want to try them one day.

Pollo tropical is "ok". It's all so bland. I don't get the big deal with the place.

It will reopen with a new name/concept and larger dining room. The Monty just opened up a cocktail garden out back behind the restaurant. Surprisingly there is a lot of outdoor space and refurbished shipping containers behind the restaurant.
