We've been to Youz Guyz and it was OK. We got spoiled living in Dallas, because we used to eat at Fred's Downtown Philly and even though they're a bit different than the ones we had in Philly, we really liked the way they make them. I guess Philly's are like anything else, personal preference. I like a bun that is not at all dry but not soggy and Fred's are perfect. I really need to find Malik's truck one of these days.

A new restaurant is moving into the complex adjacent to the Dunkin Donuts @ Potranco & 151. The signage is up and reads "Moe's Southwest Grill", a chain Mexican/Tex Mex restaurant. Looks like it won't be open anytime real soon though.

Mexican & Tex Mex Grill ,

It appears to be just another generic chain restaurant. I'll reserve further judgement until I get to try out their food.

They exist already in other parts of town... It's really nothing to write home about.

They have one in Live Oak. Chipotle is way better imho. It's not horrible but it's not anything to be excited about. Wish we could get Qdoba here in town. I think there are some in Austin .

Speaking of chain restaurants, I ate at a good one recently (several times in the past 2 weeks actually): Tarka on 1604 between Stone Oak Pkwy and Blanco (behind the Trader Joe's).
It's sort of like the Chipotle of Indian food. I like it.

There was one in Stone Oak about 2 years ago. It barley lasted 6 months. Its generic crap.

NICE FIND!

We need more Indian in this city. Is Tarka pretty decent?
