Everything is separate and they obviously make their money on dessert. Id go back when the hype dies down to try the chicken sandwich everyone raves about. Im still bummed they closed Mooyas.. oh and btw, we didnt order everything off the menu before u assume we did. 2 burgers, 2 hot dogs, 1 cheese fry, 2 regular fries, and 3 sodas (i had water) and for dessert, 4 shakes(they only have one size). To me, not worth 63 bucks.

I SHOULD SAY NOT!!!!!!! I think I would have had to check that receipt cause you are RIGHT, that was NOT a $63 meal for 4 at all!!!!

Eating at shake shack this morning. It is pretty pricey at $15 for just my meal (single cheeseburger w/ fries and large drink...no desert). They don't do drink refills either.

The burger was very good but the fries were not.

I will give them another try for the chicken burger but for hamburgers...probably will stick with my personal favorite...Culvers.

Was disappointed in the fries too and i love crinkle fries. Canes crinkle fries and even Bushes Chicken crinkle are better. Oh and i asked about expansion and the worker told me they already have plans for a second Shake Shack across from Kiddie Park on Broadway. Would open at the beginning of 2018 sometime.

The company had recently gone public on stock market, I guess that explains why they are expanding quickly.

I can't see them doing well here at those prices though...plenty of other local places to get a good burger for less money.

Twenty bucks of that was probably the milkshakes! I don't see where that's all that expensive honestly. You got quite a bit.

Shake Shack is a premium brand that uses only high quality ingredients such a custom ground beef blend from LaFrieda meats in NYC. I have no doubt that they will have lines out the doors for months on end. I really don't see them as being over priced. Look at Hopdoddy at the Rim, they have very similar pricing with lines out the door during every lunch service.
