the construction there probably contributes greatly to issues.

You wouldnít have known or noticed that Saturday before the rain hit up there. HEB was so busy you would have thought it was the day before a major holiday and Chick-fil-A was standing room only. While the closure of Lucianoís and Dickies came after the road construction I think, especially in the case of Dickies, it was more the quality of the food than location. There have been a series of closures in that area like Smashburger, Chiliís, and OrderUp that closed well before the road work. Kind of interesting in that Evans and 281 is one of the major intersections in that area so itís not like thereís a lack of traffic.

I live in the area and honestly itís just due to the fact itís such a pain in the butt to get anywhere at that intersection. Heaven help you if you want to cross 281, thereís another 10 minutes. Itís so much easier to just go somewhere off Stone Oak or TPC.

Anyone know when the Jimmy Johns on Bulverde and 1604 will open? Looks like all signage is up.

Ate at the Luciano's on Stone Oak around a year ago.
Lots of NYC attitude from the workers/manager there. Won't be back.

Story on MYSA says a new Houlihan's concept is opening in the FORMER Houlihan's location at 1604/Blanco? Hell, I didn't even know the old one closed.

Anyone remember Gino's East? I didn't realize the Live Oak location closed down until just recently being as I hardly ever go out that way.

The one by my house on Fred Rd didn't even last a year.

San Antonio seems to have a lot of attempted restaurant openings that later turn into taquerias type restaurants which is exactly what happened to the one by my house.
