New Palapas open in Alamo Ranch 7am-9pm. If you are into that sorta thing. They have good veggie burritos and soup. And veggie tacos when you are wasted late night.

"Takiza Authentic Mexican Restaurant" is going in at TPC Pkwy & Bulverde, in the space where Encino Mexican was. No idea when it will open, but I imagine they won't have to do much remodeling...

There is building activity at the TGIF's old location DeZavala and I-10. But it could be a bank for all I know.

That TGIF's was not so hot. We went there and the floor was so greasy you had to ice skate down the aisles.

Can anyone tell me about these two places???

Both are on FM 471...

"Cora's" several miles outside Castroville and "Stump's" about 6 miles outside 1604 before the Bexar / Medina County Line.

I just know Stumps. It's a dirty hamburger place. The burgers are OK, nothing special. Cheap, though.
