That Quizno's folded up?!?!? What?! ON EARTH!? It's been there for as long as I can remember!

Wow. What a shock to my system.

What kind of food is Jersey Mike's gonna be? Sub sandwiches, too? LOL.

And what's the status on Tiger Pop on Bulverde & 1604?

edit: LOL, I really need to finish reading posts before I start off on my rants.....

They closed a few months back. Jersey Mike's sign is up, but interior appears to be Quizno's era.

Fruit Fusionz is now open at TPC Pkwy & Bulverde Rd.

Fruit Fusionz

Smoothies, sandwiches & wraps, soups & salads, breakfasts... we need a good non-major chain sandwich place around here so I hope it's good!

Apologies if this is repeated info - but re: Italian places, have you tried Scuzzi's on 1604 &... Bitters I think (or a little more west than that). That's supposed to be good. Also as far as new places, a 54th Street Grill & Bar is being built in the Village at Stone Oak on 281 & Stone Oak/TPC which is apparently Burgers, Mexican, and Seafood. Also to come in that same shopping center: Mooyah burgers & fries.

Welcome to Scuzzi's Italian Grill (http://scuzzis.net/ - broken link)
54th Street Grill | Family Restaurant in St. Louis, Kansas City, San Antonio
Welcome to MOOYAH :: MOOYAH.com | Mooyah is Just burgers. Just fries. Just better.

I just drove by Culebra & 1604 & saw that 54th Street Grill & Bar, as well. What kind of chain is it? Anyone been there?

54th Street - The online menu is HUGE and looking at it made me hungry. It appears to be a "caters to almost everyone" type of place serving burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, appetizers, chicken, steaks, seafood, Mexican... I mean really there is a ton of stuff I'd try if it was any good. The one on Culebra is the 1st one in Texas, and the Stone Oak one will be #2. I guess they're predominantly in the Kansas City/St. Louis area with 16 restaurants total.

I hope it's good - it seems kind of like a BJ's or something but there is a place for "something for everyone at reasonable prices" restaurants in this world.
