We're excited that Lonestar Cafe is opening up at Nacogdoches and Thousand Oaks. It's in kind of a hidden spot so hopefully they do alright there. We are in need of a quality hamburger place over here. OMG Burgers on Nacogdoches started out good but they've already changed and gone downhill, at least in our opinion. Biff Buzby's is really good but it's not as close.

Lone Star Cafe had a place on Pat Booker in the old Hungry Farmer restaurant. Then They moved on Harry Wurzbach and ritterman. Will have to try them again at their new location.

The only Lone Star Café location I can find listed in San Antonio is on Losoya downtown. Are you sure you aren't thinking about Longhorn Café? Longhorn has had a location at Rittiman & Harry Wurzbach for a few years. Couldn't find anything about either Lone Star or Longhorn opening on Nacogdoches, though.

Quick Google search shows this:

Longhorn Cafe opening seventh San Antonio location - San Antonio Express-News

And yes it's Longhorn not Lone Star.

Thanks for clearing up the name confusion, and the link to the article.

I had gone directly to the websites for both restaurants, neither of which had any mention of new locations opening soon.

Not shocking if it did close, There are two right across the street. One on the other side of Blanco, and one inside Target.
