We tried the new Longhorn on Nacogdoches and it was good. Little snafu with our order but they quickly and happily fixed it. Glad to have them on our side of town although the Blanco and 1604 location really isn't that far.

Sorry to hear that. That's pretty much what the only place around The Rim with a nice beer selection. The Yardhouse at La Cantera is ok, except for the chalkboard beer list the rest of the list is pretty mundane.

Picante Grill on Broadway across from the Witte Museum has closed.


Also, I noticed La Parroquia on Loop 410 @ Broadway has been closed for about the last month. The building & signage are all still intact, including the marquee advertising the lunch special. La Parroquia was a former Las Palapas, and both appeared to have a significant law enforcement customer base, judging by the vehicles I would usually see parked outside.

The Starbucks was closed because they built one with a drive thru at bitters and 1604.
