Hey, found a great book called "Day Trips from San Antonio"...it is by Paris Permenter and John Bigley and lists all types of "getaways" less than two hours away.

HIGHLY recommend for those of you that look for those little weekend trips in the local area to explore and enjoy!

Been using it for years...found it at the Alamo Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, if I remember correctly...best $15 we ever spent...

Found a copy at a garage sale. My husband, a truckdriver, makes daily trips to surrounding areas. I love it when he brings things back for me from thrift stores!
