Thats nice about the golf course being redone, I hope they do well when it opens. Nothing sadder than seeing places ya used to go to when young closed and in disrepair. Thanks for the pics. San Antonio is such an interesting city.

Speaking of sad old feelings for a place, its amazing how many have those feelings for their old malls that have become empty and sometimes torn down. And this not from baby boomers but children of the 80s. They are now old enough to look back on the simple fun they had as kids and feel bad to see the the places connected with happy times gone. A couple have put together really nice tributes to their old mall with documents of the original cost and old pics. I find the deadmall site sad too. Though I was never one that hung out at the mall much, ya still have a connection of shopping at Christmas, maybe with a parent as a kid or with the ex. Now people are gone, the mall is gone, it is sad. Sorry, just thought maybe you all would find it interesting too. Thanks for the pics. I really enjoy the shots you all put up.

Boot fence along the Willow City Loop Rd. just outside Fredericksburg. Made for a scenic Easter Sunday drive.

Another view from the Willow City Loop Rd.

Amazing detail on some of the pics, Elnina. The first one on post 145 is really interesting. The Lone Star Beer pic is neat too. And the one of the state of Texas with that lovely face drawn in. Looks pretty mean. Now can anyone see a little of their ex in those dark hollow eyes. lol

Elnina, what is that building in the first pic of post 141? Whats that sign in the window?

Agreed that elnina and others have been posting impressive photos which I would never be able to match but I recently captured this at a local unnamed store. Cannot believe the first listed warning...

Pretty sure this would be listed nationally on the product and not just for those distributed in our city.

I remember Jonas . Many moons ago, when I worked for a tv station.
I went to do a story about the veterans
monument located near the Municipal Auditorium.

I may be mistaken...but this looks like his place
which I believe was outside Fredericksburg. I recall
that it was a nice trip into the country .
