Good pics Mud, very interesting. Nice bike you have. Where is that big Indian located again, I can't recall right now.

I like looking at some of the neighborhoods I remember when I lived there on the Google street views but many are still from a couple years ago. I suppose they are updating them.

Ya, that came to me just before I opened up the forum. I've had insomnia and my brain was locking up on me. lol Thanks, Elnina.

Funny, there is even a Facebook page, "I think the Red McCombs Indian needs to put it away and zip up his britches". It has
15 likes. People will make pages about anything at all huh. I like the Indian, cuz I like historical stuff. The Loop would look empty without him there. I watched an interview of Red from 09, he seems like a good caring man.

thanks todd. yep loop 410 west of Callaghan.

also a target for arrows was the giant chef above the Whopper Burger on San Pedro out close to loop 410.

Few pix from Histories of the Westside.
The street installation is an ongoing celebration of the traditions and strengths of the people of the Westside. Enlarged photos from the early 1900s to the 1950s are collected and installed in open spaces and on walls and buildings throughout the neighborhood.
