It was a great price too, I think $350. I also found a Glock 19 for $430 (online military/LE discount) and that is Very tempting. Just trying to convince my wife that two guns are just not enough

Hey, where did Potranco go?? Oh there it is, under 6 inches of water. Hey, your car *does* float after all. Aren't you glad you drove over that flooded road?

Did the road wash away again? I still can't believe they put that Walmart there. That part of the road ALWAYS floods! Any research at all would have proved it.

Even on the south side, in front of Brooks, they fixed the roads/drainage. Why not here?

I thought they worked on that Potranco/Walmart drainage issue at some point and corrected it? I guess; by the looks of things this morning..... I'm wrong....

Well, the Walmart helps because you can get around the LWC. Depending on which way you're going. If you are traveling west you can take 1604 south and turn into the walmart and take the light and if going the opposite way, you can do the opposite. There is also a way to get passed going into Caracol Heights.

Side note: Sea World sent Jack from Howl-O-Scream out to HEB on Potranco, for publicity and tickets! It was awesome - Sea World has really gone all out this year.

Mom and I saw that this morning as we were heading out to shop...we were talking about how Potranco still floods after all these years. We (they) moved to the area in 1972 and can remember many flooded low water crossings through the years...I don't live here anymore so it's amazing to me that it's still an issue. Hopefully not for too long with the supposed Potranco widening coming.

I was in the Payless on Potranco about 12:30 today, and I could see that the corner of 1604 was flooded. Salesgirl said it had been flooded out since she got to work at 9:30. Said they closed the road at 10:30. When I left the JitB for lunch, shortly before 1:00, the road had just been reopened, and traffic was still moving very slowly.
