No silly. They were going to hire it out to hunters. Sorry I didn't mention that in the first post.

Maybe it's me, but that link shows nothing about a Costco. Just Wal-Mart and a bunch of apartments. Plus, it's from before the Wal-Mart was built.

There was a different link a bit back that did have the Costco but that was dated 2007 if I remember correctly. I'm not believing anything that old until I see them break ground...

Nope..it's not you...I posted the wrong link so it was my mistake! Sorry!

Try this one...it was updated this past summer though the original date of the site plan was 2007. A few other retail establishments have been added since the original site plan was drawn. But you're probably right...until the ground is broken, it might be best to temper any excitement!

Santikos Granada update: I went to the Santikos website for their movie theaters in San Antonio, and they no longer list the Granada as one of their locations. Before, there was a link that had a picture and a short description of the upcoming theater. Is this a sign that it may end up not being built at all?

I do not understand why they wouldn't want a movie theater in the area. It's really a no-brainer if you ask me.

And I think that we should all just start going to Regal or whatever other theater and boycott Santikos! If our money isn't good enough for them in our neck of the woods, then why should we give it to them someplace else? I mean, heck, if we gotta travel a distance anyway ~ then I'll travel to a DIFFERENT brand.
