I had a temporary 2 month membership at Planet Fitness through a Groupon deal. I plan to join when the Potranco gym opens. Their fees are like the previous poster said, $10 or $20 a month. The cheaper option is for use of 1 gym only. With the more expensive option, you can use any of their gyms and there are a few other benefits I believe. Overall, they are a good basic gym. Certainly not fancy, with no childcare, swimming pool, or tons of classes, but they do have a lot of cardio equipment and weight machines. IMO, they should have more free weights, but that's just what I prefer. The color scheme is a little obnoxious and all that purple makes the place pretty dark. Maybe that's a good thing!? I think for the price, they offer a great bargin for a fitness facility. I have spoken to the membership people at the Marbach and the Huebner locations and they are very nice and NO pressure at all to join. They are very open with the costs and there's no runaround or slick salesmen like you'll find at other places. That's pretty refreshing to me for a change.

The one further up on Potranco is a Church's Chicken right?

What's being built next to the HEB Plus gas station on Potranco? Someone mentioned a Wendy's maybe.

Default Wendy's

Ok guys.... my money is now officially on a Wendy's for this location. The city of SA site permit lists Cedar Enterprises as the holder of the permit.

1738501 10738 POTRANCO RD SITE WORK ONLY TO INCLUDE EARTH W CEDAR ENTERPRISES $80,000.00 (614)737-7810 x

According to this site, Cedar Enterprises = Wendy's!

I am happy with Wendy's although a Chic-Fil-A would have been nice too. Good thing Planet Fitness is opening up in the area so I can work off all the baked taters with broccoli and cheddar.
