I guess I'm not the only one that has noticed this. Traffic usually started getting at its heaviest at around 5:30 in the evening. Now it feels that it starts earlier and doesn't die down until later.

What I hate are the impatient ones (read: dangerous ones) that feel the need to fly up behind a very obvious line of traffic, and then run off the 2-3 inch drop off of asphalt into the median, to get around everyone. *sigh*

Would it strike you as odd or concerning to see a high school kid stop their car on the way to school, open their car door, and reach down to pick up a dead animal and throw it in their car? Background: you've seen this kid before, know he has caused trouble and been in trouble, know he has absent parents, and know that this random dead animal he picked up is/was not his.

I have been contemplating whether or not to post this and it has been eating at me all day. I don't know why this is bothering me so much but I can't get the image out of my mind.

That does strike me as odd - but, there could be a good explanation for it. Just doesn't sound like there will be!

Based on all your information, I'd seriously think about calling the police non emergency number.

Jefferey Dahmer used to do the same thing and we all know how that turned out.

It sounds like you might know where he lives. If so, even though his parents appear "absent" it might be a good idea to inform them first. It might snap them into present-ness :-) Maybe I'm just being overly optimistic...

I'd still say police. It saves you from any backlash from the parents if it's coming from the police and it also gets him on their radar if he isn't already.

About the traffic, my husband and I joke and call it the Potranco parking lot.
We have learned to take back roads in high traffic times.

I did hear this though. Was at the Alamo Ranch Chick Fil A yesterday and asked about a location off Potranco. The manager there said yes, they were told last week that it has been finalized and should be open by early summer. They will own that location and move some their employees to the new location

Where exactly is the Chick Fil A supposed to be on Potranco?
