Has anyone else seen the sign for ANOTHER strip mall on potranco...I believe near the Heritage neighborhood. I'd never noticed it until today. Just FYI! For a moment I thought, maybe this will be the one with all of the unique little shops instead of more chains???

Is this on the other side of Potranco or across from the Shell station?

Same side as the Shell, on the other side of Fillmore. I live right off there and am soooo thrilled. Now I won't have to go aaaaall the way up to Potranco/Ellison to get my nails done @@(=eyeroll).

Disclaimer: So far it doesn't *say* there will be a nail place, but they can't possibly put in a strip mall without a nail place, can they??

Speaking of nail places...which one(s) do most of you like to go to? I've been to the two in the area by Lowe's and two of them down Potranco (the one across from the recruiters and the one by CVS). Not been really happy with any of them. Any suggestions? Heck, I'd take any suggestion for a good pedicure right now. Doesn't even HAVE to be on Potranco, although it would be a plus.

Someone told me the one next to HEB was good, and they give you wine! I don't know if that is true...I need a pedicure BAD!

Here's my confession for the day - I have NEVER had a pedicure! Ever.....just never something I've gotten into, I guess......

And, no, my feet aren't nasty or anything - I just do them, myself. I have always been curious, though.......

I'd be up for any place that gives me wine......

Pedicures are lovely. Seriously. I just don't like to spend the money, but when I do, it makes me so happy.

I love getting a spa pedicure--especially when they do the deep tissue massage on the bottoms of the feet. Feels so good.
