rotating shifts are the worst. In San Diego we had to do two weeks of 0600-1800 and then switched to two weeks of 1800-0600. That sucked monkey butt big time..
I have this week and next week left of mids and then I'm off to become a 1400-2200 swinger.. joy

is that one Mexican place over by Church's still only open til 2:00 PM or something like that? I want to try it, but it's only open during my normal sleeping hours..

I haven't heard anything since our neighborhood meeting.

Has anyone seen anything new come into Madison's Market?

yeah, Sazon is the name.. Guess I'll have to wait a couple weeks until I go on swings. I think a couple people here said it was pretty good and Mexican food sounds really good today..

and that Madison Market place is a strange shopping center.. it's taking forever to build and doesn't look like anything is going in.. which is odd because what was the last business that failed out here? It's like a gold mine that very few people want to tap for some reason..

We met a lady at the expo held at NWV, that was in the process of opening a candy/pinata store on Potranco - it shut down in a few months. There was supposed to be a car hand wash there before that.

Rohde said there were some stores interested in coming into MM - I haven't seen any new signs....

Default Remembering 12 and 3

Try working rotating through all 3 shifts twice a month! This is the worst kind as your body never has enough time to get used to the shift before it changes again.
Steel Man,
You sound like an old time ESC/USAFSS guy. I worked the 12 and 3 during my time in Berlin. The worst part for me was that every day was the same and nothing was special including holidays, birthdays and anniversaries. Loved the work, hated the schedule.

Actually, I was a USAFSS/SAC/ESC/PACAF/AIA/AFEWC/AFIWC type of guy!
I know where you're coming from on working every day of the year at one time or another.

BTW: Is HEB going to build a strip mall behind Valero at Loop 1604 and Potranco, or actually wait until they get a nail salon to sign up?
