Man, I really hope I never end up driving in front of YOU, rd!!! You'd prolly hate me!!! (and you've never read any of my posts about what my vehicle looks like, right??? )

no worries because I usually am going in around 5:30 AM and most people don't even know that time exists..
which reminds me of something my dad said to me last time I called him. I needed my brother's phone number and he gave it to me and told me to not call after 9:00 PM because he has to get up early to go to work. I asked what time that was and he said 6:30 AM
I think I'm going to call him when I get up (4:15 AM) just to pi$$ him off

LOL!!!! (My mother-in-law used to call me very early in the morning when I had young babies that kept me up all night. I always wanted to call her at 2am when I was up with them, just to give her a shot of her own crap!!) And yeah, you won't see me on Potranco at that hour of the morning. Otherhalf tho, yep! Sounds like you guys have the same hours!

Yeah, when we lived in California we always got super early calls. You'd think after almost a decade people would figure out the time difference, but they didn't..

Just got out of a business meeting with some other small businesses - looks like we're going to try and lure some other businesses out here. Looks like more work for me!

Guess I'm just used to it. I take Military from Lackland, get on 151 and get off at the Ingram/Potranco exit. Yeah, I've had a few close calls there getting off 151--mostly because people are too busy yapping on their cell phones than paying attention to their driving. My horn and I have become one.

Hopefully, we will see hands-free be a mandatory thing in the near future. A number of states are already on this bandwagon. There have been several laws that ban "texting while driving" recently enacted.

I can only say so much, but there are lots of business types that see the need for more businesses on this side of town - they recognize the growth and want to bring more here. BUT, it's hard work!

I'm sure there's a thread for this somewhere, but...

Got my property tax bill in the mail today...not too shocking this time!
Not too sure if they roll out by zip code or what, but if you're in Trophy Ridge, check your mail!
