I loved the soup from Sips and More when they were just a little off 1604 on Potranco ( does that keep me on topic? ha ha). McAllister's ( also not far from Potranco and 1604) is great but I wouldn't get the "soup bowl" again. To much bread and not enough soup. Jim's also makes a good bowl of Tortilla soup, imo, but then I like soup.

Isn't bacon one of the 4 food groups?

Unless you think of a pig as a God of some sort. Okay that was a bit out of left field. Hey Camper, the Jim's comment (which is spot on I might add) should be in the Marbach 410 thread. j/k...

What are they building next to the Wal-mart? I noticed also that they were starting to work over there. Did I miss something in this thread?

I am a Jay grad so I get very nostalgic when thinking of that area. I remember walking to the Mall to get a slice of pizza just outside Target and then going to Robotar dodging the recruiters who were like hound dogs.

YUM! Thanks for all of the good soup info-- I just love soup-- will surely try Spoonz tortilla soup, and Carino's. I love potato soup- I would of never thought of Carino's having potato soup, I just made a big pot. Thanks!

mmmh, chicken noodle soup sounds really good, but I like the noodles from scratch
My mom used to make some really good chicken noodle soup and the noodles were super thick. I think the only thing I liked about her was some of the food she made. weird

I'm not saying anything about any restaurants, but certain ones are under investigation for credit card fraud. At least 15 people I know have had their credit card numbers stolen from a restaurant in SA. Turns out there has been many others that had it happen to them too...
On a completely unrelated note, ahem, I would pay cash for potato soup.
