One of the things I have really enjoyed about living in this area is that there are many ways to get from one place to another! Not like driving in from MD to DC where there truly is only one way to go. I'm sure next week will be sticky, with the new caution lights AND the new bus stops - but at least things will slow down in front of the school!

I'm happy to see the bus routes extended this far. As the parent of a teen, I'm LOVING that the new route goes straight to the mall!! Now, if there was an EB games or Gamestop along the route I'd be in heaven!!

Haven't stopped in there yet.
Thought we'd try out that new bus route today. Doesn't run on Sunday, though.

So, guess we'll go to plan B, which was me taking a Sunday drive to do some junkin' and see the leaves. After the reports of Lost Maples traffic, I think I'll head in another direction!!

My daughter and I watched a lady get off one of those new buses one morning on the way to Stevens - she got off the bus, walked right in front of it and right across Potranco....two cars slammed on their brakes, she didn't even flinch. I don't know if she was wearing headphones or just stupid or what, but she's lucky she's alive and probably doesn't even know it.

This is sort of Potranco/151 news. I saw yesterday that there were bulldozers and construction crews in the area right before Bigz (Pot./151) on the right hand side. I wonder if they are starting on that Monterrey village??? Oh I hope so, I know there's a spectrum coming soon!!!
