101x.....metal? I wish that were true. i love my 101x, but the need to play more rock, instead of music that borders on rock pop.
well i love metal ....but its pop rock in my book that i hate with a passion sorry .....they need to play more rock ....not the junk they have been playing ....i say ....

I'm sorry, but 97.7 has almost the EXACTLY same playlist as KISS and my question is why?! KISS's playlist sucks. It's nothing but a bunch of crap from the 90's that isn't even relevant anymore with bit of the most boring pop rock crap *cough* Nickelback, etc. *cough* I've ever heard.

I was a bit excited when I heard about 97.7, but copying KISS's old, boring playlist makes no sense to me.

It's KSYM and 101X (whenever I can get it) for me. At least they have some variety.

I agree completely. Does anyone else do online radio at work and an ipod in the car? I hit the scan button a couple of times in the car, but never bothered to change over the presets from where I used to live.

I miss getting trance and progressive, and sometimes industrial and gothic over the air.

Yea, Kiss sucks ass and why does it keep getting the ratings it does? Well, that's easy.......BECAUSE WE DON'T REALLY HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICE!! (other than 97.7, which plays identical stuff for the most part without commercials) I wish for a 101X type station here in SA sometime before I die. According to some though, the alt rock format is dying in this country, which I don't know I can really believe. If you have the funds, Satellite Radio is worth it (even after the big merge). Or do what I did. I have this device called a Slacker. All you do is go online and select what stations you want and then each time, you refresh via WiFi and it loads each and every station fresh for you. Don't even have to buy any songs or nothing and the music is kept fresh daily. You are allowed up to 5 skips per hour on each station with the basic subscription, which costs you nothing. Or for 48 bucks annually, you can get the radio plus sub, which allows you unlimited skips and you can even request your favorite songs on your custom built stations. This unit is kinda pricey though and runs about $199 bucks at Best Buy or you can go online to www.slacker.com and they'll send one to you with free shipping and handling and I think it's actually a little cheaper too online. There's also the older model on there that's only $50 bucks. This unit is really great and is actually lots of times even better than Sirius, especially now after the Merger happened.
