Hello Everyone
I just moved into a fairly new (1 year old) KB home and I chipped some paint while dragging in some furniture. I called KB to get the color of paint and they told me to take a little off the house and get it matched by Sherwin Williams. I don't want to chip off more paint.
I'm pretty sure they used the standard light brown paint on the house. Does anyone know what it is called (flat? Satin?)? I also chipped some of the white trim. What is that called (what shade of white? Gloss? Semi Gloss??)

Just go to Sherwin Williams and tell them what subdivision you are in. That's what we did. Now, we have the white paint because it was before they switched to the two-tone paint. But SW should be able to tell you pretty easy since the color is basically the same in most homes. The paint is also usually Flat for the standard, but not sure if you got upgrades or not.

and you don't need a large piece to get the color analyzed. The spectrometer only hits a tiny portion of it.
