Well, someone's gotta do it. Why not you?

I'm sure she looks lovely, anyway! It's really nice stuff.

UGH James Avery. I refuse to pay their prices. Seems too much like you are paying just for the name. I am sure they will do well there though.

Any other stores coming up in Alamo Ranch besides James Avery?

I'd prefer they focus on the traffic before adding anything else, especially the light on the 1604N(?) access road. Coming from 151 to 1604 to Culebra backs up horribly. Going the other way, all the way down Culebra is just as bad because then you contend with the Culebra and errr well Culebra intersection by HEB.

Yes, I think someone mentioned in another thread that there's talk about fixing that section that could relieve some of the congestion. I believe it's Texas Highway Man.

Noticed that the James Avery sign says it will open June of 2011! wow. Seems like a long time to get it going.

I think their prices are extremely reasonable. As I said, I don't wear much jewelry but I like their pieces, and when compared to say, Zales or one of the mall chains, they are much better priced.

And they are handmade here in Texas. If you ever get a chance, take the drive up to Kerrville and visit the "headquarters." You can see the items as they are made, talk to some of the folks that make them, and they have a store there but the prices are about on par with most of their other locations. Still, my wife really enjoyed our day-trip there about a year or so ago...

As for Alamo Ranch, information about new shops can be found on their web site; which lists the following new businesses:

* Yum Thai
* Yogurt Zone
* Las Palapas
* Edible Arrangements
* Ride Away Bicycles
* Freebirds World Burrito
* BJ’s Restaurant
* Buffalo Wild Wings
* CLEAR
* Sally Beauty Supply
* Eden Collection
* Submarina California Subs
* Ruby Tuesday
* Carl’s Jr.
* Logan’s Roadhouse

...some of which have been in place for a while.

Cheers! M 2
